The High molecular weight polyisobutylene serves diverse industries. In adhesives and sealants, it provides strong tack, water resistance, and elasticity, making it suitable for tapes, labels, and construction sealants. In lubricants and greases, HMPIB acts as a thickener and enhances film strength under extreme conditions.

The construction industry uses HMPIB in waterproofing membranes, glazing compounds, and insulation materials. In automotive applications, it is used in inner tubes, vibration-damping materials, and protective coatings. HMPIB is also employed in medical packaging, chewing gum base, synthetic rubber additive, high performance elastomer, polyisobutylene polymer, fuel and lubricant additive, adhesive and sealant ingredient and specialty coatings due to its non-toxic, flexible, and stable properties.
